Student Wellbeing

The happiness and health of all members of the Campion community is very important to us.

At The Campion School we aim to;

  • Promote positive mental health and well-being in all staff and students
  • Increase understanding and awareness of common mental health issues
  • Alert staff to early warning signs of mental ill health
  • Provide support to staff working with young people with mental health issues
  • Provide support to staff suffering mental health issues
  • Provide support to students suffering mental ill health and their peers and parents/carers

Online Safety

As students go through secondary school there is a difficult balance that needs to be found between totally controlling each young person’s use of the internet whilst enabling them to develop the personal skills and discipline needed to be a safe and efficient user of the internet.

We aim to educate pupils on safe and effective use of the internet so they can safely incorporate it into their lives. There is a wealth of information and support for pupils and parents, some of which can be found by using the links below:

Mental Health and Wellbeing Ambassadors

We are currently in the process of getting sixth formers to apply for these positions. Once the application and recruitment process is completed they will receive qualified training and then begin to work alongside our younger students in supporting their wellbeing needs. More information will follow shortly.
